COVID-19 Update

On June 15, 2021, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts ended its COVID State of Emergency and put back in place the requirement that Speech-Language Pathologists have to see a patient in the office on the initial visit before they can be seen online using telehealth technology.

After the initial in-person meeting, the method and location of therapy is decided on a case-by-case basis between the patient and the speech-language pathologist, using instituted protocols based on the guidelines provided by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and other organizations.
